Kama Ayurveda-  Online Ayurvedic products for Beauty and Cosmetics

Kama Ayurveda, one of the top most manufacturer and seller of ayurvedic products for healthcare. Founded in 2002, the products of Kama Ayurveda have received several recognition in global as well as India publications like US Vogue and many others. The purpose of client was to increase organic traffic and return of investments. The client was very excited we successfully gained the trust of client.

 

Before proceeding further, we faced several challenges in Kama Ayurveda site-

 

Before coming to us the brand was well established and having a good offline reputation.

 

Search engine results pages were loaded by huge international brands and its competitors. The site was not so effective and there was duplicacy in content as well as in title tags, meta description and category content. The site was competing with less searchable keywords and kind of keywords which was very difficult to convert into sales and were struggling to rank for longer tail keywords.

Challenge

 

Due to lacking these things we planned out our campaign goals which included:-

 

  • Focus on ranking keywords which are previously getting unranked in first 4th pages. To do this we focused on keywords having thousands of monthly searches.

 

  • Increase overall search visibility for long tail keywords – long tail keywords converts very easily as compared to other. We started focusing on long tail keywords which have more than thousand of monthly searches which were ranking on 2nd and 3rd page.

 

  • Proper on page optimization of site – the site has several weaknesses in case of on page optimization that needed to be resolved to leverage the business and growing organic traffic.

 

  • Before this revenue growth of the site was struggling near 15 – 20 percent.

Solution

 

Our strategy and implementations –

The central strategy was after improving site’s quality to focus on content marketing to increase traffic and so that sales revenue will increase.

 

On site optimization –

 

URL Structure –

Previously the website had a very simple physical silo structure in place with one category page targeting a wide range of different keywords:

www.example.com/dandruff/organicneemoil.html

Instead, the site now has category and product pages nestled in very targeted content silos, meaning that each related set of related products has a specific SEO landing page targeting keywords relevant to it:

www.example.com/hair/by-concern/dandruff/organicneemoil.html

 

Page structure and content –

We focused more on updating latest content, title tags and meta tags. We also used key HTML elements like h1 heading tags to target similar keywords around the main keyword.

 

Link building –

We focused more on getting quality backlinks from high authority websites. For this we focused on content marketing a lot.

Results we get:

 

Our selection of keywords proved very beneficial for us. You can estimate by seeing the graph. With in five months we got first page result of keyords from 32 to 75 keywords.

 

This also affected our traffic. We got 45% traffic increment in Organic search with in five month of work.

 

And we succeeded in getting more than 23% growth in conversion rate.
